33rd ANNUAL OIEA OUTSTANDING AWARDEES OF THE YEAR!

The following outstanding individuals were honored during the 33rd Annual Oregon Indian Education Association conference "Walking in Two Worlds: Integrating Culture and Education" hosted and held by The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, March 6-7, 2008:

LUHUI WHITEBEAR, OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR.

LILLIAN YASANA, OUTSTANDING HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENT OF THE YEAR.

In addition, the following Outstanding students were named as 2008 OIEA Pepper Memorial Awardees of $200 each at the conference:
